Demystifying RIT’s Approach to Salary Compensation

The RIT AAUP Chapter invites All RIT faculty members to join us for a discussion on Faculty Compensation!

When: Oct 13th, 2026 from 1:00pm to 2:30pm

Where: Wegmans Theater, Magic Spell Studios

Mode: In-person only!

Access: interpreting & captioning have been requested.

Agenda:

1. Short warm-up exercise
2. Approx 45-minute review of historical and current data pertaining to RIT faculty compensation (with a heavy emphasis on
   salary). Questions welcome after each segment.
3. Discussion
4. Determination of action steps and follow-up
   Material, including slides and data, will be made available on line an hour before the meeting commences.
   It would be useful, though not necessary, for attendees to review their base salary dollars for the last three contract years ahead of
   the meeting.
